WARNING: This process will change the URL of your board. Old links to your board will no longer work, so make sure that your members are aware of the new URL before changing it. For example (All servers): z#.invisionfree.com/old_name/ to z#.invisionfree.com/new_name/ To change the board URL, follow the steps below: Admin CP ›› Advanced ›› Account Info Under "Account Information", click Rename Board. Type in the name that you wish to use and click Submit. Once done, all the links will not function and you will need to re-login at the new URL. Note: This process WILL NOT change the server you are on NOR any other part of the URL. If you are on Server 1, you will remain on Server 1. If you are on Server 2, you will remain on Server 2. There is NO POSSIBLE WAY to move from one server to another (i.e. Server 1 to Server 2, Server 6 to Server 1, Server 3 to Server 10, you get the idea). If you were looking for how to change the name of the board, as displayed on the board itself, in the navigation links, etc., rather than in the board's URL, that option is located in the General Configuration settings. |
