We are currently looking into advertising that will be more useful and less annoying on every forum. Here are several possibilities we are working on. We may end up using a combination of these. [*]Small text paragraphs. These would be litte paragraphs of text no larger than a normal banner ad. Text would allow your forum pages to load faster and could allow for more flexible placement. [*]Small buttons: The image would be ~80x30. These can fit any many new palces thus allow for more flexibility. [*]Higher Quality Banners: Rather than banners for no name places, these banners would be for name brand companys like Dell or Target. [*]Targeted ads: Tired of medical ads on your gaming forum. We are also working to have ads related to what your forum is about. A gaming forum would have ads for ebgames, etc. A high school website would have ads for textbook stores. A religious forum would have ads for religious music, books, etc. All of these options would also result in 100% control by us. You would not have to worry about pop-ups since we could simply remove the ad that had hidden pop-ups. We are proud to be one of the few free hosts for message baords that has no pop-ups, pop-unders, and we do not sell your email address. We hope to continue to expand this by offering less annoying, more reasonable advertising. We are also proud to be stable, so you do not have to worry about us closing just so we can force you to buy a paid service. |

We will first make a test forum for these ads so you can see examples and give us feedback. Since this is a drastic change that would affect our only major source of income it will start off as a trial to see if we can afford to even do this. |
