I recently purchased some ad removal credits. I am experimenting with using my own Google ads. But then when I put my ad up it is blank... is this some sort of thing that ZB does to prevent people from using their own? Well I purchased ad removal so now I can use my own... what's going on? At first I thought it just needed some time to sit there before it shows ads, but I highly doubt that. edit: problem solved! in fact i did have to wait some time for it to kick in =o Edited by StormCommander, Nov 7 2009, 02:18 AM.

With your ad credits have you set it to still show ads to guests as I can see ads on the forum 3.5 Advertising Content: You may not place the following forms of advertising on your board unless you have purchased ad removal and are actively using it for all user groups: 1. Content-targeted Advertising 2. Advertising that mimics or copies the look of AdSense advertising 3. Pop-ups for downloads or that interfere with navigation of the board 1. Content-targeted Advertising 2. Advertising that mimics or copies the look of AdSense advertising 3. I purchased ad removal. Ad removal applies to everyone unless you choose not to remove them for guests. I left it as it was. There were no ads when I was trying to put mine up.
I have ad removal currently disabled so I don't waste money. Edited by StormCommander, Nov 6 2009, 08:15 PM.

OK - It's just that is makes it difficult if not impossible for anyone to see what is happening with your own ads etc |

If we cannot see what you are describing or at at least see the forum with the ad removal in place and your own ads installed we cannot identify what might be the problem. For example the ads may be conflicting with another 3rd party code but we cannot even begin to try and offer support if we cannot see anything. In essence you have to help us so that we can help you. |
