I really should understand all this stuff by now, but I don't wanna do anything wrong, incase something happens to my domain or my account. Basically, I've came to the "records" bit, and I'm a bit stuck on what to put etc? |

Thanks.  The URL is all up and running etc, it just doesn't seem to be directing towards my forum...  ETA: Oh god, now I can't access my forum... (well, I can, but... only the ACP as far as I can seem atm) *** Is there any way I can keep my forum up and running on the s1.zetaboards.com/myfamilyonline URL while the myfamilyforums.co.uk one is processing? Cos I keep getting to the default page (http://81.21.76.62/myfamilyforums.co.uk/index.html) via both URL's... and I'm just a tad worried something has gone wrong somewhere along the line. BTW, what would happen if I deleted my "myfamilyforums.co.uk" primary domain in the Admin CP, would the board URL just default back to s1.zetaboards.com/myfamilyonline? (just so I can keep the forum up and running until main domain transfer is complete), if not, fair enough.

Just go to your domain manager in the ACP and set the s1.zetaboards url back as the default domain, it can take anything up to 48hrs for the records to update when you set your AName and CName records. EDIT: Looks as if your domain is working correctly now

Is the URL pointing to the forum? If so, It doesn't seem to be working properly for me... And there's only one problem with going back to the "s1.zetaboards" domain... the only two in the drop down menu are myfamilyforums.co.uk... |

Cleared cookies, browsing data... you name it, even tried different browser... I'm still taken to http://81.21.76.62/myfamilyforums.co.uk/index.html... Thank You very much for the help, it appears to be working now.

Ok, it looks like you have actually screwed something up.  s1.zetaboards.com/myfamilyonline will redirect users to the Primary Domain of the board, which in this case is myfamilyforums.co.uk, which isn't working. Can you take a screenshot of the CNAME/A-records you have setup? In the meantime, remove myfamilyforums.co.uk from your Domain Manager. Jonathan |

No. Although I think I see the problem with your domain. To be on the safe side, I'd recommend you start over, and try adding in the records again. I'm not quite sure what has happened, but the very last record in the list should be at the top. Add in the two records again (As stated in the documentation). Your records should appear like this: @ - A - 194.154.164.82 www - A - 194.154.164.82 @ - A - 209.85.62.21 www - CNAME - s1.zetaboards.com. I'm not certain if the two records at the start are actually required, but since the documentation doesn't state to remove them, we'll keep them. Jonathan |
