Like classic topic, it has pages and posts. However, in classic topic we are able to perform at least two actions related to searching, like we are not able to make in Private Messages: - showing single PM message - linking to given post in "PM thread" Showing single post from topic we can get by: h.ttp://sX.zetaboards.com/boardname/single/?p=postID&t=topicID Structure of PM: h.ttp://sX.zetaboards.com/boardname/msg/Y/?c=categoryID&folder=folderID&id=PMID where: Y is a number of page of PM conversation categoryID is a ID of action we want to make with Messaging system folderID is a ID of folder (it has negative value for Inbox (-1), Archive (-2), Drafts (-3), and positive for custom folders) PMID is a ID of PM conversation between us and the other user. We are able to send a link to the other PM conversations with given user as long as one of them isn't deleted. But we are not able to send a link to that user to specific part of the PM, only to the given page of it. Would be nice, if every "post" in PM conversation could have own ID, so we would be able to link directly to it, for example something like this: h.ttp://sX.zetaboards.com/boardname/single/msg/?c=categoryID&folder=folderID&p=PMpostID&id=PMID where: PMpostID is a ID of a single post in PM conversation. If we could have that PMpostID, we also would be able to redirect to a top of given single PM post conversation, like we now are able by: h.ttp://sX.zetaboards.com/boardname/topic/topicID/Y/?x=ZZ#postpostID where: ZZ is a number of Posts per Topic Page, if we are not using Board default values. we could also have something like this: h.ttp://sX.zetaboards.com/boardname/msg/Y/?c=categoryID&folder=folderID&id=PMID/#postPMpostID Also, since few features, like above I said, are using postID, I think, every post should have it written right after IP of author of given post, so every user could use it when needed. Eventually, every post, except of h.ttp://sX.zetaboards.com/boardname/single/?p= should also have visible h.ttp://sX.zetaboards.com/boardname/topic/topicID/Y/#post or h.ttp://sX.zetaboards.com/boardname/topic/topicID/findpost/postID/
