Member Posts: 5 Group: Members Member #11,504 Joined: January 23, 2004	I'm having trouble figuring out how to set up my domain to point to zetaboards. My website domain is hosted through webs.com. I would like one of my two domains on that account to point to my zetaboards (http://s1.zetaboards.com/oregonghosthunters/index/) so that is shows up as www.areghostreal.net (I really don't need two domain urls for my site.) Does anyone know how to do this with webs.com, and can guide me through it? I've tried to do it, but obviously don't understand it, or it doesn't work with webs.com Thanks! Try having a look through your webs.com account, and see if you can find any settings or pages that let you add or edit "CNAME" records. If you find them, take a screenshot and paste it in here, and we should be able to help you further. If not, try contacting webs.com directly to see if they support CNAME records. Jonathan

But I'm guessing I did it wrong, since it still wont work. haha I don't know if I'm even supposed to do anything here, but I'll post it as well. Anytime I've tried adding the s1.zetaboards.com to it, I've gotten this error. So I'm guessing I'm supposed to leave it. haha. I'm sorry for this. I'm just a noob when it comes to things like this.

In any case, you've actually got your CNAME record set up correctly which is good. However, your domain appears to be taking me to a website which I believe is hosted on freewebs?

Member Posts: 5 Group: Members Member #11,504 Joined: January 23, 2004	Yeah, that is our main website, which is hosted on oregonghosthunters.com I also purchased areghostreal.net through them with the same account, and it directs the main site to it as well. I wanted to use the areghostreal.net with the forums, and have oregonghosthunters.com for our main website. If that made any sense. lol But it seems to not be accepting areghostreal.net. -edit- After looking into this more, and asking on the webs.com forums, have found out that webs.com will not let me do this. They have failed me yet again. Oh well. I'll be transfering my domains to a new host soon. So until then, I'll have to give this up. Thank you very much for your help though.
