No, or I might considering I probably wouldn't be using them for much else anyway.

On that note, let's make this a considerable discussion: Google Wave. It seems pretty sweet, but I've heard some say that the new innovations won't really take Wave to the "next level" that I think it was meant to be at. I haven't seen it yet, but thoughts?

Awesome - Now coming to you in blue

EA, are you suggesting you have Google Wave? If you are: I want an invite! :( If you are not: You're cruel.

I watched the whole keynotes session on this, and I loved it.
It'd be nifty to see ZB integrate it into its systems somehow - but it'd also be a giant project. @_@

As EA said, I don't think it's potential will be reached anytime soon, and I agree with what many people have said: it will reach its peak not in Google but in some open source organization that are willing to take it above and beyond. That would be interesting to see this integrated into ZB, especially for things such as a dynamic Active Users page and shoutbox.

I would love an invite too :)
It looks pretty fun and useful, if you have a project to collaborate on, but without using it, I can't see too much more use for it.

The internet: A near infinite reservoir of information and you can't find out what Google Wave is.

@EA, remember those times I said you sucked and I hated you? Well, that was all in good humour. I really think you're awesome and we should be awesome friends. I think the best way to initiate a friendship is sharing various invites to certain exclusive communication platforms.
Don't you?

Doesn't mean that information is easy to find.

Although.. in this case, it is. Check this out -- it's long, but it'll open your eyes.

Seriously, why do people just post "google it?" I understand if you don't know the answer yourself and don't think anyone else does, but in this case it's dumb. In the time it took you to post that you could have just answered the damn question. It's not like the post was "teach me to speak another language" or "how do I program computers."

I personally have 0 idea what it is, so I opened the wikipedia page, saw how long it was and though "huh, don't care enough someone TL;DR this" which I don't think is an unreasonable reaction.

Posting "Google it" != Posting "Google Wave is a new social/communication site brought by Google (obviously) that is meant to revolutionize online communication from email to IMing. It offers real-time text transfer (not just the "NAME is currently typing...") and will allow people to collaborate on documents in realtime. Its messaging system is based around a tree model instead of the happenstance associations in standard email sites such a GMail. It even has its own protocol and API, which will allow the program go to go much, much farther than Google."

See, that took me almost twice as long.

Yeah, but now you're cool.

So worth it.

(Sounds pretty cool but things that are overly ambitious tend to fail. Complete aggregation doesn't even sound like a good idea in theory).

Translation of what I said: If I was on Google Wave, I would have invites which I would probably use to invite random ZB people because I probably wouldn't be using them for much else.

On that note, also invite me. :(

I have had access to google wave since one week after the keynote at google IO in June. It sounds cool and all but when you're there all by yourself you find no use to it. It's still very slow and unstable, though not as much as back in June; It was a pain in the back then >.<
