Following the reasonable popularity of this topic over at the Theme Zone, I thought I'd come over here and see if you guys were as all doom and gloom as parts of their community!! (:P Only joking).
EDIT - Am I loving that quote box or what!!?

Well when you're asking about what annoys someone the most, you're bound to get some pessimistic answers. I can actually tolerate a lot, perhaps more than I should, but for some reason, I can really get irked while driving. Especially while driving a particular section of the freeway near my house. It's always backed up because some people can't be bothered to switch lanes before this particular lane ends - even though there are signs a mile back. Then they expect those who did switch lanes to let them zipper. And God only knows why they had to build an exit not twenty yards away from this section of freeway, which backs things up even more.

Today I was clothes shopping with my friend and started to rant louder than I normally speak about the lack of jean styles available in H&M. Freaking skinny leg jeans EVERYWHERE. Nothing for normal sized people...by normal I mean, actually built like a woman. Not people with bodies like children and twigs for legs. So that ground my gears today. Because I'd like some jeans to fit my curvy thighs and my 5ft10 frame. Apparently that is too much to ask for. Oh then there was a queue of cars for half an hour to get out of the car park, which was very unusual. People kept honking their horns, as if it'd actually help. Road rage grinds my gears

The most annoying thing I find is that I can't get any game console to play my .avi files (not even the PS3. .. ). I really want to watch Bleach on my 51" .

Haha, well Lindsey, maybe there would be someone who had nothing that ground their gears? Nicola, yes I know what you mean actually I hear it from my female mates all the time - I think the stores are all just following what magazines tell them to stock, which is ridiculous - A bit off topic, but I think it's more beautiful for a woman to be curvy. ![]() |

Oh this is my kind of topic. Things which grind my gears: -Upper class people acting poor to be "cool" -Selfish drivers -The fact that my laptop randomly disconnects from my router and the only fix is restarting the entire thing -People who get offended in debates -Loud emos -People who try to be funny way too much considering how unfunny they are -Not being able to find matching socks -The thought of work or school in the morning -Spiritual mediums, cult leaders, religious leaders etc. -Getting killed over and over in a video game -Long selfindulgent ranting lists |

It's a vicious circle, unfortunately. We have magazines with 'Celebrities are so skinny!' and blaming them on the eating disorders of young women, yet the shops aren't helping. I was saying to my friend earlier that we'd literally have to slim down and be smaller than our natural and healthy shapes to fit into what is available in shops. It'd be helpful if highstreet retailers would stop catering so much for the skinny people and not virtually force average sized people to get skinny just to be able to buy some clothes. Then of course some of the clothes for sale lately are just vile. Saw lots of tops and skirts today with fabrics that resemble my grandma's living room rug which has been vomited on by someone who just ate a bad curry. Like uh... this. That bugs me too just as much as the limited range of sizes. Limited range of styles. Maybe not everyone wants to cotton onto the icky skinny jeans/leggings with long-tshirt, shapeless cardigan, bug-eyed sunglasses, belts used as an uncomfortable waist accessory rather than to provide a function... all in hideous neon colours that make you look like a traffic cone, plastic PVC fabrics and hallucingenic prints that look like a drug trip at a hippy theme park. Which is how I end up with my 'basics' of plain tops in a few styles and many different colours. I look incredibly boring ![]() Lol, I have that problem. I am awful with socks. I just end up wearing odd socks sometimes

My 360 plays avi files, including those with the XVid codec and all. It's awesome seeing them upscaled to 1080p. ![]() People on the road grind my gears...like people who change lanes as if with impunity, indicators left implied. Screw them.

Your 360's probably updated, I don't have a long enough ethernet cable, or £60 for a 360 wireless adapter to connect it to the internet >< |

I hate people when ride me when I'm going 10 over the speed limit. I then feel the obligation to slow down to exactly the speed limit just to see how much more they like it.

I hate people who ride me ever. The topic title reminded me of that one episode of Family Guy, and that doesn't grind my gears.

I absolutely hate this ever since I downgraded to XP, this happens all the time (I thought it was a bug since there was no driver actually for my comp, as it is a Gateway) on top of that, it overheats as well, I'm so fed up with it that I'm gonna turn it into a comp just for work, rather than everything, and I'm gonna build a desktop for everything else

Feminism/Chauvinism. I mean, really what are the differences? All remaining "differences" are cultural rubbish. The quicker it dies, the happier I'll be! I'm fed up with hearing that women are too emotional or that men are too dominating. What's worse is, society actually for fills these roles. Damn you society, damn you! |
