All ZetaBoards servers have been upgraded. This upgrade includes 17 new/improved features as well as 8 bug fixes.
Highlights are in green.
New Features as of August 24th, 2009:
- Forum jump added to Active Topics page
- ACP: IP Ban system upgraded. The confirmation page now lists how often the a member has posted with a matching IP. It also says when they first and last used those matching IP Addresses.
- Spoiler BBCode tags now have an optional title parameter. Example:

- Every page has been tagged with a unique ID or class (aids in customization & advanced themes). See the full list at: http://if.invisionfree.com/topic/5061963/1/
- ACP: New IP Address Manager. Find all the IP Addresses used by a member or look up a specific IP Address to see which members have used it to post.
- Option to show buttons for each BBCode. If you disable a tag the button will go away.
- ZetaBoards Premium is now available at a discounted yearly rate. A full year of Zetaboards Premium for the price of 10 months!
- ACP: A new Staff security portal. Check to make sure your staff have reasonable password quality scores to help protect their accounts. A score of 3 or 4 is excellent. A score of N/A means we have no scoring data available for that member. They can update their password and a score will be generated for that password.
- Advanced double post merger. If a user makes two consecutive posts in a topic, they will be merged into a single post. There is an admin preference if the merge should be treated as an edit (no postcount increase and the topic doesn't get bumped) or a new reply (postcount increase and the topic gets bumped). If the combined post would exceed the maximum post length, then a consecutive post is allowed.

- jQuery 1.3.2 is now installed on all boards.
Bugs Fixed
- Removed stray comma at the end of the birthday list on the board front page.
- ACP: Attempting to ban an email address of the form test.user@example.com would give an error.
- ACP: Fixed display of multiple log entries
- Improved BBCode Parser. Fixed a bug that caused a submitted post not to load or be posted.
- Error: This account does not need to be confirmed. Error Code: 22026 Changing email address on board that requires email validation sent an email with an invalid confirmation link.
- Clicking the submit button more than once when trashing or splitting posts could result in the topic breaking or having the wrong reply count.
- Blank topic or PM titles
- Spaces at the beginning of edited topic titles caused topic sorting issues.
