I moved my board from MSN's servers to the InvisionFree servers 5 years ago and have never looked back. Over the years there have probably been a handful of occasions where the board has been inaccessible, but those outages have been short and painless. Not knowing who to personally thank I am offering a general thanks from myself and the members of my board ...I hope you continue the great work you do to give access to professional looking boards to everyone. Thanks again Dazz |

Wow, you started out on MSN too huh? I came from MSN myself (via PB and phpBB) That's quite a bit of history you've got. Thanks kindly from us all for your kind words - Brandon especially, as he provides, maintains and updates the software. It's good to hear that you're happy with the service and I have to say it's nice to know there are people who've been with us for so long. Forum history always grabs my interest, I just find it fascinating how long some have been around and how they've grown from their tiny beginning. ![]() I'm just going to scoot this over to the official IF discussion forum.

Tomorrow my board has 3rd Anniversary, and I'm happy from ZB/IF as well. It's always possible to find a hole in any host or system, of course if someone want. However even if ZB/IF has a lot of them, they're usually minor ones or sooner or later fixed. Glad that you like our host

To be honest I just started the group up initially to see what these types of boards offered and it took a bit of getting used to. Disgruntled members who didn't like the change from the simple MSN format to a more complex (But more rewarding) format that allows so much more scope for a personal group experience. Heck I even had to learn HTML and CSS because the board benefits of personalisation kept the group fresh over the years...Now the members can't get enough of the board and post daily over the 5 Year period. It's got to the stage where I only accept members on recommendation because it's as busy as I want it and the board has an organic turnover of members and friends who view the forum as a meeting place. I owe you all a beer and a few bar snacks for your fantastic work....Invisionise your mind is my motto

I'm very happy with Invision as well. My board has been running since 2005 and besides minor outages quickly resolved, everything has been fine. So thank you to everyone involved for creating Invisionfree

Yeah, InvisionFree is pretty awesome in general, especially for being absolutely free. I've been pleased with IF so far, and although the wait for conversion to ZB is taking quite awhile even though conversions were supposedly speeding up, I look forward to the fast improvements ZB will make to an already good system. |

I have to agree with everyone here. Despite my being new to the whole forum thing, I'm pretty happy with how easy it actually was. Like corporal atlas I'm also waiting for the conversion, and I'm pretty excited to see how Zetaboards is going to turn out and am hoping it's half as good as IF. |

I wouldn't like to switch because I wouldn't know how the switch would affect the board I have. Would it switch over and have the board posts and history intact? If I changed I couldn't change back and I am more than happy with the way it is now....regret is too late when you take the plunge. |

Mine! Or I will help you not.

We never recommend converting before trying the software. We encourage everyone to make a test board first, see how they like Zetaboards and then decide whether to opt in to convert. Because you are correct: Once you've converted to Zetaboards, you can not go back to Invisionfree. |
