All newly created boards seem to be on server z1? But converted boards stay on the server number that they were created on? I thought that the server numbers were the same for both IF and ZB, so why does a newly created board with IF not automatically go to server s1? Sorry if I'm missing something really simple, but I was just wondering....

When Invisionfree first started there was only one server, server one oddly enough. As this began to get filled up with boards server two was brought online and so on. The same applies with ZetaBoards. Server One for Invisionfree and ZetaBoards is a different physical server. Newly created IF boards are put onto a server with room. I imagine converted boards stay with the same server number for ease of use and to avoid confusion. If you try and access a converted board with its InvisionFree URL then it redirects to the ZetaBoards one - that might have something to do with it. |
