It really all depends on where you want it to be displayed. ..... Anything you want to "scroll" with the marquee tag goes between the opening <marquee> tag and the closing </marquee> tag. Here is a tutorial page on marquees: http://www.htmlcodetutorial.com/_MARQUEE.html So say you want the word "Hot Rod" to scroll on your page. You would have <marquee>Hot Rod</marquee> Of course, as in all the examples, the above is very basic and can be modified for your desired looks. |

In looking at your code, you have a few errors that could be causing the issue. 1. Your logo code
Note that you have not closed the link properly. It should be
2. You have errors with the code you copy/pasted on your IP Dynamic Lite set-up. You have:
You need to check the html code you are wanting to display. Remember, the post HERE was specific to their site. It looks like you did a copy/paste and then edited the code. You might need to try it again, for as I showed in error #2 above, the code can't be displayed the way you have it. For a better, more generic, explanation of how to re-design your portal, visit THIS LINK. |

Hi this is exactly what im looking for in a way. Apart from the 1st code Heres what mine looks like so far ![]() My question is this, can I put text and pics in the big grey area wilst having the bar down the left. Id like to put text there welcoming them to the site and maybe having a few pics. Also the second question is that can I add another box on the left. So far there is 'Welcome, visitor' , 'Site Navigation' , 'Online Users' , 'Latest Discussions'. Basicly id like to have another navigation list so that people can click on them and it take them to other sites. Thanks |

Yes you can, by simply adding some code to your Affiliates Box section of the IP Dynamic Lite set-up page. You would not use any of the code in this topic. Instead, in the box for "Show Affiliates box content" you can add this:
It will add a box to the column on the left and start adding content to the right hand side . . . in the big grey area you were mentioning. Hope this helps. |

I guess I don't really understand what you looking for. Can you provide an example site, picture, better explanation, or something? Thanks. |

Hi thanks for that. I have just added it to my forum and only 2 problems is that it makes the side bar to thin. With the code added ![]() I only tried the one you put for time being. With out the code added ![]() And as you can also see the 'Site Navigation' bit has disaperied. Why is this? Thanks |
