Unfortunatly one of our mod deleted a very long RP topic we were all using. We only found out how to enable the trashcan after the fact, and now we are trying to figure out how we can restore the topic.

Can anyone help.... please?

if its in the trash can go to the trash can open the topic and look for the mod tools

select move and then the destination to place the topic in and your done

If it happened before you enabled the trash can I do not believe there is a way to retrieve - ie I believe that deleting a topic or forum makes it unrecovereable

peteh is right you can only get it back if the trash can was active when it got deleted

Unfortunatly, I've found out that is the member that started the topic, even if he isn't a mod, presses delete, even if you have a trash can, it dosn't get sent there before it gets deleted. >.> Is there a code somewhere that would force things to go to the trash first, regardless of how they were deleted?

failing that you can set up so only staff can delete posts

if a member starts a post they cant delete it
