I assumed Facebook made hundreds of thousands of dollars from their social networking megasite, but apparently they barely earn more than covering the costs of running the service. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/8127827.stm Enlightening to me, at least. I wonder if some of us can draw parallels to another awesome site out there.

But it is good to hear revenues are going up so that step will not be necessary.

I never understood why they wanted to clean up inactive accounts, but that makes sense now. Interesting indeed that they haven't profited.
