Domain name: http://rune-demon.org Normal Url: http://z3.invisionfree.com/RuneDemon/index.php Registrar: http://dynadot.com Here is the error i'm getting from dynadot: Name Server Misconfigured - One or more name servers for this domain is not returning an IP address. Please contact the admin for the name server. this is the cname i'm using: z3.invisionfree.com The cname is changed it just isn't returning an ip address... The server in question is the one that my forum is hosted on. Please help me? and i did try using the ip address that didn't work either.... i have it stealthing to my forums right now.. Have you tried editing the NameServers (Not to be confused with CNAME or A-records) of your domain at all? If you have, try changing them back to the default values. If not, try contacting your domain host for assistance, as there doesn't seem to be anything else wrong that I can see. Jonathan |

yes i have but i have no idea what i would do with them.... i mean what is it supposed to do there is no name servers for this that i can direct it to.......if i change it back to default it will redirect to my old forums... - and i cannot contact my host as i believe they have no support.

In order to update the CNAME records, you are required to have the NameServers pointing to the same location your domain is hosted at. In most cases, this requires you to make NO changes to them when you first buy your domain. Jonathan |
