Mine! Or I will help you not.

So my contract with Nextel (now Sprint) expired and frankly I have been very unhappy with their service. So, I am considering AT&T right now. Also going to look into Verizon.

I am considering AT&T and the iPhone if I made the switch. I know several of you have this and enjoy it. But I'm not sure whether it is worth the extra expense. The plans seem fairly pricey and I'm not sure whether it is the best solution.

Verizon is the first service we had but we had it when it was starting out and my mother hated it. We switched to Nextel and then I was added on later. My mom is still stuck with nextel but she is also looking to jump ship as soon as her plan expires. This makes me wonder whether or not I should consider looking at family plans over single lines.

So, share with me your service, phone model and plan info and help me narrow down my choices and better form a decision. No matter what I still will end up grilling the service with questions only they can answer, but before I do that, I wanted to hear from past and present customers using either AT&T, Verizon, Sprint or any other major US provider.

Go Irish!

I hated verizon when i was with them 3 or so years ago. Now with AT&T and have no issues. That being said, I think they all can manage to screw things up now and then, so whoever you choose, I hope it is uneventful. Just make sure you find one that covers where you live well.

Phone Model EDIT: Sorry, meant to say that's not my actual phone. Very close though...I think it is the VX 8300 that I have now - which is/was extremely common.

I'm with Verizon and I'm gonna be getting a new phone in a week or two. We are on the shared plan with 700 minutes allowance. The good thing is that Verizon to Verizon is free minutes. I'm fairly certain that there are some pretty good plans with them. The only thing I dislike is that sometimes it is hard to find service where you need it. For example, I tend to pick-up service in the middle of a highway - where there is literally no "city" around.

I have the LG VU/CU 920. Although it is able to have internet, and even a TV plan thing, I just have a phone plan, I got it a few days ago and find it to be a good phone if you want something like the iphone but don't want the data plan and such.

AT&T.
