PM Popups; Can they be automatic?

Hi all. Couldn't find this issue in the documentation: I like the PM popup notification window but it only works if you hit a keystroke or mouse click while you're moving around the board, e.g., clicking on a forum topic or a user name.

Let's say you're having a PM conversation on a board but are working in other windows at the same time... it would be nice if the popup window popped up automatically without requiring a click.

Is there a setting change for this or would it require a code re-write?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Unfortunately, this isn't something I know of.

However, you could always set your browser to automatically refresh your board every minute or two. If you've got a decent connection, this shouldn't cause any problems. :)

Found an addon to automatically refresh IE. It's a little clunky but it does the job. Perhaps the next version of ZB/IF could include a "check-box-able" automatic PM popup as an optional feature. Thanks for your help!

Do you mind posting the 'addon' you have used for that?

Seems to work fine. If anyone knows of anything better, please post. Thanks!
