I have created two, one which is buggy and doesn't work with Nicola's image border code and one that is hard to manage because every time you add something to it and it increases in height, CSS things have to be edited (margin-top:-number; and min-height:heightofsidebar;). |

The second option will work but is hard to manage. There are no easy to use proper functioning sidebar codes for ZB yet. |

Try this! http://rpg-directory.com/index.php?showtopic=29805 The trick is to make sure that you have the correct size of the board. Some themes do not work with the sidebar (those that have a specific width of 800px, you can only have bigger widths than that), you have to test and see.. I have a sidebar on my forums, basically I just put the whole board in a table and made it two table cells side-by-side. You can check it out for yourself if you go to my site. The only problem I had was in IE: it would stretch the page humongously horizontal-wise whenever you went into a topic. I was messing around and fixed it by putting the table I made the board in inside ANOTHER table, and for whatever reason it fixed it (except for in polls, it still stretches the board, so now I just encourage users to get Firefox  ). That's the best I could come up with and have seen.

Could you post the basic code for the sidebar with sizes and all (without its content)? I have tried sidebar so many times but I never get it right..., how do you get the board itself fixed to the left?

Oh yeah. What you can do is have the two things in tables and just remove the background and borders of that table. |
