I would use it if its inbuilt firebug equivalent wasn't useless. |

Yeah Chrome is quite good, but I find it hard to go a day without StumbleUpon. If there were extensions like that for Chrome, I would see little reason to stick with Firefox. Meanwhile I am yet to see a better browser than Opera. (Yes, I use what I believe to be the worse browser) |

I tried using Chrome but soon found I couldn't switch off the function that gave a drop down of suggestions based on Bookmarks and History as I typed, despite having opted not to use the suggestion service. If I want to navigate to somewhere that's in my Bookmarks I'm not that likely to be typing the address manually. At least with Firefox I can turn the function off |

I use it regularly, unless I am debugging or downloading. Firefox's DownThemAll app somehow downloads my files a lot quicker. |

You'll be waiting for a long time. I use the pre-alpha Chromium builds for Linux every few days. It's fun watching it shape up. I like some of the ideas behind the browser, and the little nuances. Edited by mcteeth, Apr 23 2009, 02:04 AM.

So, you use IE then? ![]() I like the idea behind Chrome of having everything in its own proces. It makes the browser much more robust and it allows you to take advantage of all the CPU cores in your system. Its really nice to not have your browser freeze up on you just because of some broken javascript. |

I use Opera, it's just as fast as Chrome, but you can customize it too. |

That's interesting since Chrome runs almost x2 faster on my machine than Opera. Chrome is incredibly fast but incredibly bare-bones. It doesn't have the features or options that Firefox has and some of the plug-ins are buggy for me (from Java to Flash). However, it is still the fastest browser I've seen and I use it from time to time. |

Chrome is my choice by far. I even use the "inspect element" quite often lol. |

The only reason I would leave FireFox is if all my add-ons were available for Chrome and Chrome was faster and rendered better. Which I don't believe it passes all those requirements (add-ons, mainly). |

I also think it's nice but still seems unfinished compared to Firefox. Only thing I really like and would like to see implemented (optionally for those who want it) is a single bard that does everything. Still, Firefox is and will be my #1 browser. |
