 All ZetaBoards servers have been upgraded. This upgrade includes 8 new features as well as 10 bug fixes.

Highlights are in green.

New Features as of March 29th, 2009:

  • Forum Jump
  • ACP: now can specify less than or greater than for Last post and Last online option in member searches
  • Increased maximum length of remote avatar URL to 250 characters.
  • Joinable group leaders can now remove member from their group.
  • Board Option: Minimum postcount needed to edit custom title
  • Anti-spam on blog comments.
  • Admin Digest PM: A daily PM that gives you important stats.
  • Anti-spam enhancements.


Bugs Fixed

  • If you have permission to view the trashcan then you can see active users in any forum regardless of view permissions.
  • Banning names should ban all capitalization variations of that name, not merely a lowercase version of it.
  • ACP: Fixed the display of spoiler, hr, html, quote, and code bbcode tags.
  • Birthdays on board front page
  • Error: The ID you selected is invalid. Error Code: 57038 when deleting leader from joinable group.
  • ACP: database error when deleting a group
  • Database error when splitting some posts.
  • Database error when running some topic AMTs
  • Posts not appearing in portal properly.
  • Database error when entering in an IP address to ban.

 ZetaBoards Premium boards have 3 additional features in this upgrade.

1. AMTs will now keep track of the number of times they are run. This can help you remove or improve underutilized AMTs.
2. The new Admin Digest covers up to 14 days if you have not visited the board.
3. The new Admin Digest is available to any admin, not just the board owner.

 Thanks to this recent upgrade we were able to double the power of the ZB search function. Now boards with as many as 150,000 posts will be able to use the search function on their community. This is an increase from the previous limit of 75,000. On top of that we're working on other upgrades to the search system that should eventually allow boards of any size to use the system.
