Mainly Firefox. Chrome for javascript intensive things. (The current JS engine used by FF kinda sucks in terms of speed. FF3.5 should change that though. )I also have IE7, Opera and Safari installed for testing purposes. Opera is actually a pretty decent browser, but it just doesn't do it for me.

I use FF myself, but I've been thinking of testing out Chrome. |

I use Firefox for browsing and primary web development (omg Firebug ftw [/'fanboy']) and once I'm finished primary I fix any issues that arise in Internet Exploder, Opera, Safari, and Internet Exploder (yes, again). I'm thinking I may have to add Chrome to that list though, it seems to be gaining popularity. |

It's definitely worth trying out at least, it's on par with FF and Opera in terms of speed and security. |

Firefox for me. Internet Explorer just gets used when I want to compare something with Firefox such as skin coding or whatever. But Firefox is my main browser.

Chrome and Safari use the KHTML rendering engine. So does Konqueror. If your pages are displaying fine in Safari, they should also be in Chrome as well. |

I'll definitely have to use Chrome then. I hate Safari, it runs hella slow on my computer. Plus, the FF extension to 'view this page in Safari' doesn't work right, but the Chrome and Opera Ones do. |

Opera!!! Bleh... I got so ticked at IE that I used a script on XP to completely disable it. I use Opera for my main browsing, then Firefox for my administration tasks and web design coding. I also have Safari for doing other things (mainly for viewing pages from a guest's perspective) |

I use Firefox. I have IE 5.5 to IE 8 installed as well as Opera, Chrome, and Safari for testing javascript codes. I thought that IE was horrible to program for, but then I met WebKit - Safari and Chrome and I realised that at least IE had documentation to work with. It's strange that Safari and Chrome identify as KHTML. They actually use WebKit where as Konqueror uses KHTML. Apple, the Mac developers, originally took KHTML and adapted it into what is now known as WebKit. At first, they made many modifications and improvements and were very unhelpful to the KHTML developers, KDE, in integrating the changes back into KHTML. Apple gave almost no documentation for the changes, wouldn't allow KDE to have access to the bug reports and demanded that the KDE developers sign non-disclosure agreements for code Apple had written. Later on things got better, Apple put WebKit into a public repository. Edited by Paper, Apr 17 2009, 10:05 AM.
