I've seen this topic on many a forum and it is always a popular one! Only one rule - Make sure your post is a sentence. So... basically just say something random about yourself, what your doing or anything at all. Get a conversation going about somthing posted before you. If this topic turns too spammish - it will be moved to the games section. Hazel starts. Hazel is watching the SAG awards Red Carpet event on E. Where is Ryan Seacrest tonight? |

I'm glad this is here now, some random discussions for those who can't get on IRC/won't/whatever (I was in that boat for a while). Though I can't imagine having to moderate it. Kudos to you all. ![]() Anyhow, I had to google what SAG was (I really am on a roll for being slow this evening) and I don't know where Ryan Seacrest is. I tend to avoid watching awards etc. Just doesn't interest me. Edited by Nicolas, Jan 25 2009, 07:30 PM.

I love award shows! The red carpet is almost the best part as you get to see everyone! I do feel for some of the interviewers.. some people are so hard to interview. |

It feels like this topic is a fabricated one, fresh out of a mold. It just feels weird. I've been meaning to go to sleep for over an hour now, but seem to be glued to IRC. Funny, since it took me over four years to actually get on to it. ![]() Asleep? In a bar? Gaming on WoW?

That's a really long break. Do you have 12 or 10 week classes instead of 16 weeks? Or is the whole school going back just now? |

I love how random discussions is now just about Stephen. xD Computer Science major. Awesomesauce. I do envy your long break, though I likely do not envy your work load.

The world revolves around Stephen I think this year we started back the 3rd of September and we go up until thanksgiving break (where we have wednesday, thanksgiving, and friday off) then we go back and have 2-3 weeks left then a week of finals and then break. We normally get back after Martin Luther King day. This year it was an extra week. So we start tomorrow and go til the week of the 21st for May which is finals week. Then we have May, June, July and normally all of August. But I believe 2009 has us starting back the last week of August. The trade off there is that we get out earlier in December. So, on the one hand we have long breaks. But on the other, we tend to still be in class while others get out. My friend in Oklahoma is normally home about a week before us and leaves 2 weeks before we return. |
