Link to the 'Last (unread?) Post' of a Thread?; is there such an option for ZB?

The search function isn't working for me, otherwise I'd search to see if someone else posted this question or suggestion. If someone else already asked, please point me in the right direction!

The question is this: In IF, there's a feature when viewing threads where you can click on 'Last Post By' and the link will take you to the last (unread?) post. When you're viewing the entirety of the message board, the most recent discussion thread will be linked and clicking on the link will take you to the last (unread?) post as well. Does ZB have this feature and if it doesn't is this a feature that will be implemented in the future?

Edit: On a similar note, I know that there is a function in the Board Settings for my user account that lets me view the last unread post vs the original post (does this make it the default setting?), but it doesn't seem to be working for me as when I return to an old thread that I have read through and there's a new post, I still get the original post. And yes, I double checked my settings to make sure.

When one clicks the title link on the forum or index page, he or she automatically will go to the last unread post. If all posts have been read, it will go to the last post.

I have noticed that at first it doesn't automatically do that because it is still loading. But once the page is done loading, you should get to that last unread post.

That happens automatically when ZB appends the "#new" to the end of the thread URL.

As far as a setting in the ACP, I am not finding it if there is.

I'm finding that at least for me, it's a toss-up as to whether or not I get the last unread post (or last post) even when I have my setting specified to get the last unread post, even when I wait for the entire page of that thread to load. For this reason, I think a hard link to the last unread post would be useful.

OK, I think I see what you mean....

Like for example on my board we have many images embedded in some threads and when I click a link to one of those threads it is positioning me to a certain location in the thread, then loads the images, and when it is finished loading I am left several posts above the actual last post.

Is that what you mean ?

It appears to be a Safari bug. I use Safari and have the same thing happen and I have confirmed that ZB p[ut the "new" anchor in the right place and Safari just did not scroll to it properly.
