I suggest more detailed member statistics (e.g., members online period, members posting period) and more flexibility to statistics administrative (e.g., allow member to view topic statistics?, allow member to view post statistics?).

Meanwhile, I suggest to record invalid password attempts of all accounts (or selected only) everytime (or at least last-10 for each accounts). This may ease staff to see which account is being cracked. Or maybe deliver a private message from System Message to warn that someone is trying to crack that account.

sounds good though it could and probably would throw up tons of false reports, the member logging in may be experiencing problems with their browser which prevents login through cookied problems etc.

They may have genuinely forgotten their passwords or have a secure password which is difficult for them to remember - This would be especially likely if they are logging in from an unfamiliar location whereas they may be logged in automatically from their normal machine.

Also how often have you been convinced you had the right password and try 4 or 5 time or more before you finally realise that the CAPSLOCK IS ON :)
