Posts: 372 Group: Members Member #15,200 Joined: March 23, 2004 My Board URL http://6starwrestling.net/index/	"ZetaBoards News" is a nice addition to the Admin CP, but I don't think it's updated enough to warrant top page placement. I know I personally use the "Admin Tasks" area a lot more frequently than I read over the ZB news or "Current Admin CP Usage" areas, since it is a quick and simple way to see if there are any pending name change requests. Therefore, I'd like to raise the suggestion of re-ordering the layout of the main Admin CP page. I believe it would be more efficient if "Admin Tasks" was at the top of the page, "Current Admin CP Usage" remained where it currently is, and "ZetaBoards News" was moved to the bottom of the page. Since the newest news is automatically posted at the top of the "news" section, then Admins would still be able to see the important news updates without having to scroll. Currently, you cannot see the other options without scrolling through the news (which, after you read once is really all you're going to read anyway).

I don't use the feature, so I never even thought of adding it to my suggested layout change. Since the "Admin Annoucement" is optional, then it could stay as it currently is. Admins that choose to use it can update it as they need, while admins that choose not use it won't even see it. My main point, though, is that the "Admin Tasks" area is much more likely to be more active (thus useful) than the "ZetaBoards News" area, so "Admin Tasks" should be higher on the page to make the quick links easier to view when entering the Admin CP.
