 Attention Code Makers
Please remember that when you post a code in this forum, you are responsible for providing support. If your code does not work, it will be removed from this forum.

You are responsible for:

  • Thoroughly testing the code: This means it can not affect services like ad removal by causing the page to reload too often.
  • Thoroughly testing the code in multiple browsers: About half our users use Internet Explorer. The other half use Firefox. Others use Opera and many use Safari. It is important that your code work in as many browsers as possible.
  • Maintaining and Updating your code: If there are bugs, you address them. If no fixes are made, your topic will be removed from this forum
  • Providing Support for the code in it's topic: The Staff can not support codes because there are too many. It is up to the creator to provide support for each code submitted. If support is not provided, the code will be removed.

If your code requires a script file to be hosted elsewhere, we are now enforcing a rule where these scripts must be hosted on a zetaboards forum. Either via a post, or via the File Manager in the Admin CP. Due to a few incidents with script deletions, hosting downtime, domain expirations and coders immaturely editing the original file to mess up user's boards, we must ask that they are hosted on Zetaboards servers.

PM Nicola or Jonathan if your code can only function via an external script. These will be considered on a case by case basis for the security of our users and the safety of their boards.
