How long must one wait?

Well to start off I was having difficulties but read basically every tutorial/guide on godaddy and these forums about domains and also a bunch of topics in this forum.

So, Jonathan, or whoever else can help me, how long does it take for the godaddy CNAME to become available for my use?

I've waited somewhere between 1.5 hours and 2 hours so far, I was just wondering how long it took so that I can be sure that I am actually doing this right.

Thanks, I'll reply back the second it works.

Oh and btw, my host I put is www.jdiazpoetry.com (that's my site) with my pointing to z4.invisionfree.com.

I know I don't need the "www" infront of it my domain but I want that to appear when navigating thru my forum, instead of http://jdiazpoetry.com. So can I ask, is that the reason that is hindering me from putting the domain up? Or is it because I haven't waited that long?

Ok well it is working now.

But only under http://jdiazpoetry.com

What if I wanted http://www.jdiazpoetry.com? How may I add the 'www' to show up regardless of where I may click in the forum?

I realize adding 'www' or not will take me to the forum, however, it disappears when I click on a sub-forum.

Hi there. Are you still having this problem?

If so, could you take a screenshot of the current CNAME and A-records you have setup? It should look something like this.
