Member Posts: 315 Group: Members Member #62,783 Joined: July 28, 2005	Yes I am root Admin and no I didn't request the change infact I don't understand why changes are being done when Zeta isn't fully working (skins etc) and I still wouldn't switch when it is because Invision free is far better.

ZetaBoards is also constantly evolving. It may be fairly different to InvisionFree, and perhaps unwelcome if you weren't expecting the upgrade, but we can help you fully in adjusting to the new software. Don't hesitate to ask if you have questions regarding ZetaBoards.

Basically, the "invisionfree" in your URL will change to "zetaboards". E.g. http://z7.invisionfree.com/yourboard Would become: http://s7.zetaboards.com/yourboard But as I said, your old URL would still direct users to your new address.

When I checked in today around 25 minutes ago, the board said it was in the process of being converted. This was not requested. http://z11.invisionfree.com/QPAWN/index.php?act=idx Now, can you please tell me whether or not data will be lost? Why did this happen without a request? I have to answer the angry questions of around a hundred people or so about this very soon, so give me whatever information you have.

We're sorry that this might not be what you want, but we are willing to provide as much support as possible to you and your users to help make the transition to ZetaBoards as smooth as possible. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. The first thing you'll probably want is a new theme for your board. You can find a number of themes for your board at the bottom of our Code Index. Alternatively, you could try a board from one of the following board directories: Forum Services Full Service Themes/Skins Also, the following documentations will be helpful in aiding you in creating a custom theme: CSS Index Helps you understand what parts of CSS does and how to edit it. Zetaboards CSS Guide Hunt out particular areas of the board to see what classes in the CSS you need to alter. Default Theme Layout and Appearance In case you mess up and need to start again. If you need help creating a new theme set on your board please read this documentation.

Our skin is the default Zeta theme and it took ages for us to complete our skin. Anyway, can we please be converted back to the old invision free one?
