Hello and Welcome to the Invisionfree General Support Forum!
This forum is here to answer all your questions about how to use your Invisionfree board. To better help you, this topic contains a list of frequently asked questions as well as known issues or bugs with the software.

Helpful Links
- Search: The quickest way to resolve your problem is to use the Search feature on this board. Many times, other users have asked the same question that you have and the answer is already available. Before making a new topic, always try to use the search feature first.
- Documentation Wiki: This is the another way to quickly solve your problem. This wiki contains detailed documentation written by our staff on both Invisionfree and Zetaboards software. Topics on how to use the Admin CP, Moderation options, Skinning as well as other General Use questions can be found on this wiki.
- Board Locator: If you have lost the link to your board, but remember your board's name, the board locator will be able to help you locate your board
- Server Status: In order to keep Support flowing, we ask that users refrain from posting when their board's server is down. Brandon monitors the servers and knows when there is a serious problem. Some times however, the servers have a slight hiccup and will not work for a few minutes. The easiest way to check if your server is working is to check the server status page.
- Premium Services: This page provides more information on the premium services Invisionfree has to offer. If you are interested in one of these services, send a Sales Ticket from you Admin Control Panel.

General Support Rules
In order to receive quick and accurate support, we ask that all members do the following:
- Before creating a New Topic, use the Search feature: Many times other members have asked the same question you have or a staff member has answered this question in another topic. Using the search feature is often the quickest way to resolve your problem.
- Use a Descriptive Topic Title: As the forum rules above state, the quickest way to get your question answered is to be descriptive about your problem. Without a descriptive topic title, answering your topic will take longer. If you want your question answered fast, a descriptive topic title will greatly expedite the process.
- When Making a topic, provide as much detail as possible: The more information you give, the easier it is to pinpoint the problem and provide accurate support. Many times, support is delayed because we need to ask questions to pinpoint the problem. Providing a lot of information about the problem (What you were doing, What Browser you use, If you have anything in your board wrappers) is beneficial to everyone and allows you to resolve your problem faster.
- Please include a link to your board in your first post: One of the fastest ways to resolve your problem is to provide a link to your board. Many times by looking at the board itself, we can spot the problem and resolve it.
- Please allow guests to view your board: As important as providing a board link is, it is important that we can actually see the board to diagnose the problem. Having to register or wait for approval only slows down the process and increases your wait time.
- Do not give access to your Admin CP: If a member on this forum asks for admin access, do not give them access. Do not post a link to your Admin CP in your support topic at all. Do not post the link anywhere on this board. The only time it is ok to give out Admin CP access is when a staff member asks you for access via Support Ticket.
- Do not request a Staff member answer your topic: This forum is mostly full of members who volunteer their time to help. If you want support from a staff member, please submit a Support Ticket from your board's Admin Control Panel (Admin CP-> Support Ticket)

Known Invisionfree Bugs
The following items are considered bugs with the Invisionfree software.
- Personal Message Storage: Many users report that there is a problem with the amount of messages they can store. Despite deleting messages, their personal message panel is still displaying a message that their folder contains messages. To remedy this, we recommend that the Board Owner allow all user groups to store an unlimited amount of personal messages. Personal Messages do not impact your disk space and you can therefore store as many as you want. To give a User Group unlimited personal message storage, go to the Manage User Groups section of your Admin Control Panel and edit the group. In the option labeled Max. Number of storable messages?. Enter 0 into the box and scroll to the bottom and click Complete Edit The user group should now have an unlimited amount of storable messages. Repeat these steps for all your user groups.
- Search: Due to database errors and slowdowns, Brandon was forced to remove the search feature from Invisionfree software. In place of the Invisionfree search, there is a google search option in place that users can use. However, it is not as precise as a board search.
