We are sorry about the latest database issues. I am still checking to make sure they are under control, but you should see that they have stopped mostly. The Problem: We use MySQL as our database. Even though the version we use was listed as stable and for a production (aka live) environment, we encountered a rather nasty bug. The bug did not appear due to server load or how busy the database was. In fact this support board which is tiny in comparison to the hosted boards was hit several times by this bug. The bug caused a table (part of the database) to become corrupt. When InvisionFree or any other application attempts to read from a corrupt table, it will get an error. You, as the end user, will see the little blue box saying an error occurred on the board you tried to visit. I am able to repair a corrupt database but you may lose a few records. In all about 40 members were lost and the statistics for 4 boards. These missing records are spread out over 15,000 boards, so odds are you are not affected directly. We are working to identify the boards affected by the missing records and fix them up. Other problems may have been caused by this as well, which we will identify and fix as soon as possible.
