June and July will bring a variety of new features and tools that should help make InvisionFree more customizable and give you, the admin, more control. Our goal is to cut the number of features a full IPB has that InvisionFree doesn't down to nearly zero and add other features an IPB does not have. Skinning will see a vast improvement with the follow as just some of what you can expect: [*]Multiple Custom Skins: you can make more than one set of CSS/images/wrappers. [*]Customizable wrappers (headers and footers) for the pre-installed skins. [*]More pre-installed skins. [*]A new, easy to use CSS editor. No knowledge of CSS required. [*]Widget Maker: a toolset that lets you add pre-built widgets to your wrapper. Widgets vary from scrolling text to dropdown menus to announcement boxes. [*]Skin Control Panel: - See how many members are using each skins. - Choose a default skin for each group or for the board. - Disable certain skins from use. - Reset a custom skin to the default code (If you ever make a coding mistake). [*]And maybe even fully editable layouts. This should take many parts of skinning beyond what an IPB will offer.
