When somebody says that it isn't working they usually mean that they need further help not a dismissive "Dude" post. Maybe this board needs to remember that it needs the members to exists not the other way around as there are a lot of other message boards that can be used. I too am having trouble getting the Favicons to show up in the address board and it is not from not knowing what I'm doing, so maybe on some boards there are code problems that need to be figured out B4 it can work or maybe it is just us as individuals not getting it right but that does not mean anybody has the right to be disrespectful in their attitude. |

if anybody wants to convert their gif/jpg/png files to .ico files, you can try this tool: http://www.html-kit.com/e/favicon.cgi it will convert the file and give you a ZIP file to download. Open the ZIP file and the .ico file is there. Upload it on a file hoster that supports .ico files, like www.ripway.com. Note: you will only get a satisfactory result if you are submitting an image with the same width and height, like 100x100, 200x200. If you submit an image that has 100x150 dimensions, the result might be a distorted image. |
