For example people complain to me when some one signs up on an IF hosted forum with someone else's email. The most often word used is 'spam' even though the email is not disguised, misleading, comercial, or bulk. (They often don't seem to know they can make the person pay for signing up with their name, just request a lost password and their account is dead.) B. Advertising via normal mail is common so why not let legit companies email you under the same rules. Email ads cut costs which means that the prices should be lower and it certainly saves paper. A few legit email ads a day people can handle since they handle mail ads everyday.
