Admin CP ›› Board Settings ›› Board on/off Turning your board offline allows to to effectively deactive the board for all your members except those member groups that have permission to view an offline board. You can use this to work on the board without your members seeing what you are doing. Turn the board offline? - Yes/No toggle The offline message to display - You can enter a message here explaining to those who do not have access to view your offline board why it is offline. A login box will also be displayed for those users that do have access so they can login. |

Warning - Board Offline/Password Resets When turning your board offline, you will be unable to reset your password using the "forgotten password" recovery tool. As a result, you could end up locking yourself out of the board completely should you forget your password. Please ensure your login details are written down somewhere safe should you turn your board offline. ZetaBoards allows users with access to an offline board to reset their passwords, so should remove this problem to board admins. |
