PLEASE NOTE: I am NOT a part of the support staff here. Any PMs (Private Messages) to me asking for support will be ignored. If you need support for your InvisionFree forum OR ZetaBoard forum, please ask in the appropriate forum or via the Support Ticket system What is a Support Ticket? The support ticket system is a way of receiving faster and better support from the InvisionFree staff. This new system has been placed on all boards and support tickets may be accessed through the board's admin control panel only by the users who have access to the panel, meaning that you will receive help from only the staff members. No sidetrack conversations may be started by other users as well. Support is also faster due to the fact that we have information about your board as well on hand, instead of having to wait for users to give it to us who sometimes may forget. Ok, but is it free for all boards to use? Yes. All boards can take advantage of this system. How do I access the Support Ticket system? First, go to your Admin CP. You can do this in 1 of 2 ways:
Under "InvisionFree Network", click on Support Ticket. How do I submit (and reply to) a Support Ticket? If you have never submitted a Support Ticket before, a form will be there for you to fill out. Just type a title and describe what your problem is. To reply to a current ticket, just click the ticket's title (the title used when the ticket was submitted) and use the form at the way bottom to reply. To submit a new Support Ticket, go to the Support Ticket main page and use the form below your current tickets. What happens when I submit a Support Ticket? Submitting a Support Ticket is just like creating a new topic at the InvisionFree Support Forums. After the ticket is submitted, it awaits a reply from a staff member (such as myself). Once the ticket is solved, we mark it as resolved. If it's a bug within InvisionFree coding, a member of staff will mark it as a bug. Support tickets that require Brandon's attention will be marked as so. Where do these Support Tickets go? How come I can only see mine? A special set of forums are used that can ONLY be viewed by InvisionFree staff. All support tickets are submitted as if it were a topic created on the Support forums. You can ONLY view your own support tickets as it is a one on one support system. Can we use BB Code? Yes. All BB Codes work. Additional BB Codes can also be used. Note: The URL to your board will NOT be needed as we have that information already, however, if a specific user or topic is part of the problem, we ask that you please provide the URL to it. |

Occasionally, a member of the InvisionFree Staff will ask you to grant us Administrator Privileges on your board. This is usually in cases where we feel it would be easier for you to have us to check a setting ourselves, or a similar situation. InvisionFree will NEVER ask for Administrative access outside of our Support Ticket system, which is only accessible by us and you. We take great caution to prevent unauthorized access to your board. Never grant access to anyone you do not trust. If a user registers on your board claiming to be a member of the InvisionFree Support Team, do not grant administrative access. Once again, we will never ask for access outside of the Support Ticket System. |
