Ever heard of a blind spot?

How exactly would it be far? When looking right, I turn my head more than I do when looking left. ^o) .. field of vision is great until something blocks it. Most cars have a central divider thing that doors close against. For me, personally, it's easier to check left than it is right.

Also, I would never consider not looking far (how ever far it might be) to my right before joining a heavy flow of fast traffic. I damn sure don't want to meet a lorry mid-merge.

I have the addition of circular mini-mirrors attached to my door mirrors. Same thing no? :unsure:
