it makes no difference what side the steering wheel is situated.
I think it does. Sitting on the right side of the car on the left side of the road gives you a greater range of vision.
Just noticed this.

Next time you're in your car, look over your left shoulder.

Then look over your right.

Which side can you see better?
?? Sitting on the right while driving on the left = sitting near the middle of the road. Sitting on the left wouldn't give you the best vision of the road ahead.
But, I dunno what dysfunction your car has, but my car came with a side view mirror :ermm: Makes merging onto the motorway easy peasy. Plus if I were on the left side of the car, using that side view mirror might be a little trickier, and really, who wants to turn their neck around that far when pulling out onto a motorway?
