That would require you to have the domain. If you had at bentleygenetics.com a frame that contained the file path on their computer, then they would think that it was on their website.

That being said, the whole process wouldn't work well. Many people don't run their browser in admin mode - so off the bat you've got to have the file in a location where any browser on any OS can access it - and then you still have to account for if they have Vista or XP. In Vista, the privileges of the browser matter; in XP, they don't matter so much.

There are methods of password protecting files if you have a little PHP experience; would this be more suitable to your needs? You could host everything on a single page and have a password on the front to protect it. I'm sure one of the more experienced PHP users on this board - since I'm definitely not - could point you in the right direction for this.
