 Perhaps a million years ago, there was this character... er, person called "Anesthesia," who would post an image up for everyone to put their names on. This happened twice each year, in December and January. This occurred until she disappeared in... I think 2007. Since then the community signature has been dead. Well, mostly--it was revived for the anniversary event.

Now... this long later, I have received permission to start the next community signature. I'm going to see if I can get this every year... probably in May so that it's 6 months from the anniversary celebration. Of course, I thought of this at the end of June, when we still didn't have a sig, so it's this month. Get over it.

Regardless, welcome to the July 2009 version of the Zathyus Community Signature. This year's signature is based off Nicola's beautiful summer theme.

WARNING: You MUST read the signature rules (immediately below this giant red notice). It is VERY IMPORTANT that you do so to ensure the smooth running of the signature signing process. Failure to do so may result in the minimum of us ignoring your addition. Zathyus Staff reserves the right to intervene and/or administer punishments at any time, even if it's the topic's first offense. I have no control over what Zathyus Staff may or may not choose to do to you should you ignore these rules. You have been warned.
  • When you download the image to begin adding your name, post that you are checking out the image. If you fail to do so, you may not complain when someone else checks it out. You will also screw up the names and someone (hopefully you) will not appear on the sig. When you are done editing, edit your check-out post, including the image in your edit, so that the next person may take the image.
  • LOOK FOR THE LAST POST TO SIGN. Although I will be updating my image occasionally, it will not always be up-to-date. The most recent image will be in the last post. If there's not an image there, wait for the person who posted that particular check-out message to finish adding his/her name.
  • Only save the image in higher-quality formats such as PNG. We want a pretty signature that we can look back upon, not a piece of crap because someone ruined it. If you need image-editing software that is not MS Paint, GIMP and Paint.NET are two great choices.
  • Do not use excessively large font. Large names may be edited by others in order to allow more room on the signature.
  • You can decorate your name however you want as long as the decorations are not excessively large. Large decorations may also be edited by others in order to allow more room on the signature.
  • Have fun! This is not something you should get upset over.
  • I and the Zathyus Staff reserve the right to edit this rules list should we think of anything else.
