And the image in the background annoys me. If it changes daily or weekly or something I'll definitely not use it. I want a simplistic, minimal page that takes almost zero time loading. Google fits the bill. The logo changes sometimes but it's always an interesting event that is a cause for celebrating or something I didn't know before. That background image just seems redundant because it's so random. Call me picky. :P
Bing loads almost faster on my computer so that background image has just about no effect besides adding more to the page. Even if the background did change so does the logo on Google's page (background HAS gone to black before) so that's kind of hypocritical...and that last part didn't even make sense.

Anyway, I'll check it out but I'll probably stick with Google. I just wonder how competent it is compared to Google's search engine.
Google doesn't put images as their background. Going black is just a simple HTLM change..it doesn't make it any longer to load or not. (honestly I would like to see Google with a black background...easier on my eyes.)
