Google is very fast as well. Bing seems quick too, but unless they add some type of feature that is more attractive than Google's, they will not force me to convert. Don't get me wrong, it looks fine. Just I've used google for so long that I'm not going to convert "just because." And the image in the background annoys me. If it changes daily or weekly or something I'll definitely not use it. I want a simplistic, minimal page that takes almost zero time loading. Google fits the bill. The logo changes sometimes but it's always an interesting event that is a cause for celebrating or something I didn't know before. That background image just seems redundant because it's so random. Call me picky.
