Things to remember when posting…

• All posts in Java Hut should be well-thought out and relevant to the topic at hand.
• Short, "one-word" posts are not allowed. It does not have to be a novel, but it should be at least a few sentences.
  
• If you find that your post is too short, check to ensure that you have clearly stated your opinion and provided support details to back up your view.
  
• Any material obtained from another source (articles, etc.) should be in quotations. When posting a news article, please post only an excerpt and link to the article in full.
• Topic titles should be unbiased toward the subject.
  
• Do not engage in personal attacks on other members; do not respond to personal attacks upon yourself. Report any such posts to a Community Moderator.
  
• Moderators will delete individual posts that fail to meet the Java Hut standard. Topics may be edited, closed, moved, or trashed at the discretion of a moderator.
  
• If a topic grows too large, a moderator may close it and start a second topic to continue the discussion.
  
• Members who deviate from the rules will receive a verbal warning from a moderator to remain on topic. A second transgression earns a warning and a PM. A third violation and the member will be placed in the Restricted: Java Hut group and no longer have the privilege of posting here.
